Pet Friendly Boston MA Apartments

Boston Pet Friendly ApartmentsSo you’ve decided that you need a Boston pet friendly apartment. You just couldn’t say no to that little Pug and now it’s impossible to find an apartment that will take your dog even though he’s the size of a cat. It’s amazing the amount of petcism (that’s a word now) that goes on in the city of Boston. While cat friendly Boston apartments abound, dog friendly Boston apartments are few and far between. Before we dig into the land of Boston pet friendly apartments, let’s go over a few things that you need to know in order to avoid any confusion.

1. Having one cat is usually not a problem. Sometimes even two will do. If you have a squadron of kitties, you might want to think about buying a home because no landlord wants to turn their investment into a cat house.

2. When you say you have a dog, specify the breed and weight. I’ve talked landlords into taking small dogs before with a little charm. I’ve also had deals fall through at the last moment because the client’s “small dog” turned out to be a Rottweiler. Just to be clear, even Boston pet friendly apartments are probably not going to accept your Pit Bull, Rotty, Doberman, Bull Mastiff, Great Dane, or Horse. It’s really just a matter of insurance for the landlord. Seriously, you probably don’t want to share a 600 square foot apartment with a 200 square foot dog anyway.

3. Boston pet friendly apartments are not impossible to find, but they rent EARLY in the year. Pet owners know that they need to be ahead of the pack in order to find not only a pet friendly Boston apartment, but a nice one at that.

Ok, now that we’ve covered those bases, let me tell you a bit about what we’ve been doing over at All Access Boston in order to make your search for Boston pet friendly apartments easier. Just like we did with no fee apartments last week, we’ve created a dedicated webpage to Boston pet friendly apartments. Here, you’ll find a list of apartments for you and your four legged (or beaked) friend along with a breakdown by neighborhood. You can even use our little search form to find a Boston pet friendly apartment in any corner of Beantown.

So how do you take advantage of this new and amazingly efficient pet friendly apartment search page?

1. Go to it.
2. Fill out the registration form.
3. Search through our database of Boston pet friendly apartments and check out properties that interest you.
4. Sit back and wait for an experienced All Access Boston real estate agent to contact you (which will happen shortly after registering).

It’s that easy. You didn’t even need to get out of your chair. Tell us that’s not the American Dream. Forget manifest destiny, it’s all about finding a nice Boston pet friendly apartment with minimal effort. We understand. I have a couple of cats myself, and Alex…well, Alex hates my cats.
